I had no idea who these guys were before this show, but it only took them a few riffs to win me over. Apparently they've been around for a while now, but just recently moved down to Long Island from upstate NY, and are still breaking into the NYC scene. Hopefully that means I'll be seeing a whole lot more of them soon.

Musically, they do a lot, and definitely aren't pigeonholing themselves into one style. Hardcore, metal, crust, mathcore, and beyond - there's a bit of everything on here, and these guys clearly know how to write interesting songs. Their set was also more energetic and intense than a lot of bands out there, and surprisingly tight considering that they were one member short and admittedly a bit drunk. I can't wait to see them as a full band!

Check out this killer set, and if you like what you hear, go buy a copy of their new album Connections! It's been getting a lot of plays on my iPod these last few days, and is definitely worth it.
